Fathers' Day Celebration, Sunday, 6/15/14

Sunday, June 15, 2014

It was cold again today, and we both worked outside.  Chuck was on the train and Cindy was at the gold panning operation.  The most entertainment she had today was waving to Chuck every time the train went by and watching a little chipmunk run in and out of the gold panning office.

Our inn mates all told Chuck “Happy Fathers' Day” and prepared a family supper for us in the rehearsal hall since we are their pseudo parents for the summer.  What great kids!   We had a salad, baked chicken breasts, and twice baked potatoes, and it was all delicious.  After eating we played a new game called Quelf Antics—the unpredictable game of actions, acting, and antics.  Similar to charades with a twist, an example of one of the assignments was to act like a Ninja cleaning out a gutter and Jaimi actually guessed the right answer.  We also played the trivia type game called Smart Ass.
